This piece was done to honor the pioneer women who migrated West, sometimes losing loved ones on the way. I wanted to show the mother kneeling at the little grave, baby blanket in hand. The road behind her beckons her onward, to leave the little one behind. published in "The RubberStampMadness Album of Scenic Art"

a craft store, or you can use birch bark found in nature. Real horse tail hairs are threaded through a copper clip.
