"CHILDRENS' STORIES"

So many books, so little time to read them all.
I found stamps that might fit into a classic story theme and then added an actual quote from each story.  The little girl is layered over a vintage Raggedy Ann page.

"Barnyard Friends"

This scene is based on a greeting card that had a little girl playing with some goats.  I had a little girl stamp, but no goats, so chickens became the new "friends".  Most of the stamps are unknown (received in swaps). The little girl is from Enchanted Ink (de Stempelwinkel) and the leafy plant is SEI.  This piece is colored using Radiant Pearls, markers, and pencils.

Woman is from The Stampsmith; Girl is from About Art Accents. Inspired by the painting of John Singer Sargent titled "Carnation Lily, Lily Rose".  The little girl stamp looks like my granddaughter Olivia, hence the title of this stamped piece.  Colored with Radiant Pearl paints.
