floral

I bought a new stamp called Oriental Blossoms, from Local King Rubber Stamps, and tried a couple of different color schemes.  This one has cut-outs that allow a printed paper to show from underneath, and both are layerd over glittery scrap book paper.

Spring themed card

The flower stamp is the only stamp used.  I repeated the image over and over on white cardstock, colored each flower, and then colored the background paper dark blue.  Alphabet tiles were swiped with blue ink to match the card.

"Olivia in the Garden"

Woman is from The Stampsmith; Girl is from About Art Accents. Inspired by the painting of John Singer Sargent titled "Carnation Lily, Lily Rose".  The little girl stamp looks like my granddaughter Olivia, hence the title of this stamped piece.  Colored with Radiant Pearl paints.
