One of my favorite subjects for scenic stamping is fantasy/science fiction. I love the little chicken-children and was happy to use them in a scene. This piece was published in the July/August 2007 issue of RubberStampMadness

"DARK WOODS"

I like to think of this as the origin of the Little Red Riding Hood fable.

"WHAT'S FOR DINNER?"

What is for dinner?  The fish?  The chicken?  Who knows?

This scene required the use of vanishing points and a lot of masking.  The table was a picnic table with the benches "removed" by putting transparent tape over the inked benches on the rubber stamp.  The floor planks and the line on the wall for the hanging herbs were drawn by hand.  The chef's basket was originally empty, and I used the masking technique to add the fish.  This piece was published in the September/October 2007 issue of RubberStampMadness

Spring themed card

The flower stamp is the only stamp used.  I repeated the image over and over on white cardstock, colored each flower, and then colored the background paper dark blue.  Alphabet tiles were swiped with blue ink to match the card.

"CHILDRENS' STORIES"

So many books, so little time to read them all. 
I found stamps that might fit into a classic story theme and then added an actual quote from each story.  The little girl is layered over a vintage Raggedy Ann page.
